York Legal Walk: 28 June 2021
Walk for justice this summer and support our charity!
When? Monday 28 June from 5:30pm
Where? A 10km walk through the the city centre and beyond (map to be confirmed). Drinks at end point.
What? Access to Justice Foundation organises annual walks to support local legal advice charities across the country. In York we have walked with over 50 people in recent years to support CAY’s YorLaw service and other charities.
Who? Anyone can sign up to take part. Just follow this link to sign up as a team or an individual, and then fundraise to your heart’s content! When you’re ready, donate to CAY’s team page here and join us on the walk. We also encourage local legal practitioners to team up with their colleagues.
How? You can choose to fundraise for us and then donate the money afterwards, or simply donate to our team page here and join us on our walk for justice!
About YorLaw
YorLaw is CAY’s free legal advice service. It is run entirely by a small, dedicated team of volunteers and your support will help keep it going. Despite its modest size, in the past year alone YorLaw has assisted more than 100 clients. It also manages the McKenzie Friend scheme, which supports people who are representing themselves in a court case about children without legal representation.
